Lekki Estates Residents and Stakeholders Association (LERSA) Communique on Visit to LASEPA
We are pleased to announce that our much-awaited meeting with Dr. Babatunde Ajayi, the General Manager of the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA), driven by our Environmental Committee Chairperson Lauretta Asemota was successfully held today. The session, attended by both Dr. Ajayi and his dedicated team, was spearheaded by our esteemed President, Alhaji Sulyman Bello.
During this constructive encounter, we presented our objectives and the rationale behind this important meeting. We highlighted our community's environmental concerns, engaging in a fruitful dialogue with the LASEPA team. In response, Dr. Ajayi and his team were receptive and proactive, encouraging us to enumerate our specific challenges and forward them for their consideration.
The interaction proved to be highly informative and enlightening, shedding light on various environmental issues and potential collaborative solutions.
On behalf of LERSA, I extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Tunde Ajayi, Mrs. Sonibare, Mr Amos’s, Special Assistant to the Governor on Environment and the entire team at LASEPA. Their genuine concern and readiness to address environmental issues are commendable. This meeting marks a significant step towards fostering a sustainable and environmentally responsible community in Lagos.
