The Lekki Estates Residents and Stakeholders Association (LERSA) recently held a strategic engagement session with the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) at the LERSA Secretariat to discuss critical aspects of the Lagos Rail Mass Transit (LRMT) Green Line Project. The meeting focused on the Right-of-Way (ROW) and other key components of the project, ensuring alignment with the interests of stakeholders and residents.
The discussions centered on the following key areas:
1. Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP): Addressing the civil works, construction of rail tracks, stations, and pedestrian bridges.
2. Resettlement Plan: Outlining measures for affected parties to ensure a fair and transparent process.
The LAMATA team provided detailed insights into the Green Line route and project plans, which will be finalized upon the completion of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and civil works.

6. Project Timeline:
- The ESIA is scheduled to commence in 2025.
